Another anti-Sheikh Hasina leader shot in Bangladesh

Bangladesh situation is deeply worrying

Khulna (Bangladesh) – After the assassination of Usman Hadi, a leader opposed to India and Sheikh Hasina in Bangladesh, another anti-Sheikh Hasina leader, Mohammad Motaleb Shikdar, leader of the ‘National Citizens Party’, has been shot here and is seriously injured. Miscreants entered Mohammad Shikdar’s house and shot him in the head. He is undergoing treatment at the Khulna Medical College Hospital. Doctors said that the bullet went past his ear, did not reach his brain and hence he is safe.

The National Citizens Party is a party formed by students who had staged a major protest in Bangladesh last year. Subsequently, Sheikh Hasina’s government was overthrown.
