Stone pelting on police vehicles during action to disperse transgenders

An incident at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai

Kharghar (Navi Mumbai) – Stones were pelted at patrol police vehicles on night duty when the police dispersed a few third gender persons who were standing on the road making indecent gestures. Fortunately, there was no loss of life. Only the vehicle’s mirror was broken. A case has been registered in this matter.

Frequent stone pelting on the protectors of law is a sign that there is no fear of the law. We never hear about any action taken against the culprits; therefore, such incidents are increasing day by day.
