
Udupi (Karnataka) – The District Court sentenced 10 Bangladeshi infiltrators living here illegally, to 2 years imprisonment with a fine of Rs 10,000 each. These include Hakim Ali, Sujon S.K., Ismail S.K., Karim S.K., Salam S.K., Rajikul S.K., Mohammed Sojib, Rimul, Mohammed Imam Sheikh, and Mohammad Jahangir Alam
The Malpe police had arrested them on October 11, 2024. Investigation had revealed that the accused had made fake Aadhaar cards. These Bangladeshi infiltrators lived in Padutonse village in Udupi Taluka of Karnataka. Accused Usman had arranged jobs for them. (It would not be wrong on the part of Indian citizens to feel that Bangladeshi infiltrators should be deported to their country, Bangladesh instead of being sent to jail! – Editor).
