The case of a Hindu girl attacked with a razor blade for refusing to convert !

Mirzapur (Uttar Pradesh [UP]) – The main accused Abdul, who had absconded after attacking a Hindu young girl with a razor blade, has died suspiciously. The police found His corpse floating in the River Ganga near Maharshi Ghat, on the morning of 9th December. They have taken it into custody and sent it for an autopsy. Abdul’s death has generated unrest in his residential area. People are speculating that Abdul might have ended his life out of fear of arrest. He had been missing for the last 72 hours. He had been pressurising a Hindu girl to convert. When she refused, he entered her house forcibly and slashed her throat several times with a razor blade. The injured girl is undergoing treatment in a hospital. The Police are investigating the case further.
