Laying foundation stone of the mosque today
Kolkata (Bengal) – MLA Humayun Kabir suspended from Trinamool Congress party (TMC) has made a provoking announcement of laying foundation stone of Babri Mosque at Beldang in Murshidabad district on 06.12.2025. A petition was filed against this issue in the High Court when Calcutta High Court refused to intervene declaring that it is the State Government’s duty to maintain law and order.
It was presented to the Court by the State Government that the State Government has deployed adequate Police Force to maintain law and order in the area. The Central Government has also informed that it has already positioned nineteen contingents of the Central Security Force in that region.
Humayun Kabir to form a new party
Despite TMC suspending Humayun Kabir in a disciplinary action case, he has announced to set up a new political party.
