A Hindu youth murdered by Muslims in Badnera (Amravati) : 9 accused arrested !

BJP MP Anil Bonde stages sit-in protest at the Police Station !

Amravati, Maharashtra – Rishi Khapekar (aged 27), a young man from Badnera town here, was murdered. In this case, the Police had taken into custody Sheikh Taufiq Sheikh Shakur (aged 21) along with 3 minor accused. Now, 5 more accused have been arrested, taking the total number of arrested individuals to 9. This includes 3 women.

Rishi Khapekar and Shakur used to sell roasted chickpeas and puffed rice on the train. Disputes arose between them over this business. It was from this quarrel that, as alleged, Taufiq attacked Rishi with a knife and a wooden stick, inflicting severe injuries. Rishi later succumbed to his wounds.

BJP MP Anil Bonde staged a sit-in protest at the Badnera Police Station, demanding the arrest of the accused. He had declared, “Until all 12 Muslim accused are arrested, the last rites will not be performed.” At the same time, he also demanded the suspension of Sunil Chavan, the Police Station in-charge of Badnera.
