Dr Adeel Ahmed Rather was arrested in Anantnag with an AK-47 along with five others from Jammu and Kashmir. Also arrested were Dr Ahmed Sayed from Karnavati (originally from Bhagyanagar, educated in China), Dr Shaheen Shahid from Faridabad, and Dr Muzammil, who were in possession of 360 kilograms of ammonium nitrate used for bomb-making. In this backdrop, the chemical bomb explosion on 10th November near the Red Fort in Delhi is naturally being linked with these arrests. The seizure of 2,900 kilograms of ammonium nitrate and 2,563 kilograms of explosives from Faridabad, as well as explosive materials from Karnavati, has finally revealed that all these individuals are connected with the terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed. It is now becoming evident that this is revenge for ‘Operation Sindoor’, which had earlier targeted Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Some noteworthy points
Chinese pistols were found in the weapons stockpile of Dr Muzammil. This is yet another proof that terrorists receive assistance from China and other countries. They were communicating through encrypted channels. Ahmed Sayed was producing a highly toxic poison called Ricin from castor seeds. All these modern Doctors were working under the guise of social service. Supplying arms, providing funds, and spreading Jihadi ideology – these were activities carried out by these so-called respectable professionals. This incident is a tight slap for ‘secular’ individuals who claim that unemployment drives the youth towards terrorism.
When one observes the extensive network of ‘sleeper cells’ (local helpers) of terrorist organisations, it becomes clear why it is essential for us to stay constantly alert and ask – Is the fanatic individual around us an infiltrator ? Is their behaviour suspicious ? Indian citizens must remain very vigilant and assist the security agencies; without this, it will be difficult to eradicate the poison of sleeper cells that has spread throughout Mother India’s body.
After Sudarshan News broadcast a post asking how the Gauri-Shankar Temple, located very close to the site of the explosion, remained safe, many anti-national elements expressed negative reactions. Reforming this poisonous generation is also a task that must be undertaken by the internal army of the Nation, which means the citizens of this Nation.
Readiness for the adverse times
According to Police experts and Military Officers, Government agencies are foiling the terrorists’ plans in 90% of cases before the attacks take place. We must not deny the success of our Intelligence and other agencies. However, since the series of attacks continues unabated, it is time once again for introspection and identifying shortcomings.
Comparing this incident to the attacks and bomb blasts that took place during the Congress Government’s tenure, it is notable how swiftly the agencies acted this time, moving towards the root cause with proper coordination. Advancements in technology also supported them. Yet, the media must recognise its responsibility while covering such incidents. While some outlets acted responsibly, others kept chasing Officers for reactions at a time when saving victims’ lives should have been top priority.
When a major attack on the Nation of this nature takes place, simultaneous and prompt action must begin on multiple fronts. These include sending the injured to hospitals, activating various evidence-gathering units, sealing off the area, deploying fire brigades, collecting eyewitness accounts, intensifying patrolling at multiple locations, checking CCTV footage, tracing leads to reach the masterminds, ensuring coordination among various departments, reassuring the media and citizens, and verifying that no similar attack is imminent elsewhere. All these actions were implemented within two hours of the incident, leading to good results. Notably, Home Minister Amit Shah personally reached the site shortly afterwards, giving the public confidence that the Government was treating the matter with utmost seriousness. The public must feel assured that the Government will punish the culprits. This faith is vital.

Now let it be done once and for all … !
Judging by the firm retaliatory action of the Modi Government so far against terrorists, the public is certain that it will once again deliver a fitting response to this incident. Yet, a question arises in the minds of the wise and patriotic citizens – For how long must this cycle of violence continue ? After every Jihadi attack, some people lose their lives, and then the Government punishes the terrorists in some way or the other … only for the Jihadis to regroup and strike again in a different form.
This unending chain of attacks – Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Uri, the Army camp in Jammu, Amarnath, Pulwama, and now Delhi, refuses to stop. Just as the Government has brought Naxalism to the brink of extinction, with the same determination it must now completely eliminate internal as well as external terrorist attacks in India. Otherwise, slogans like ‘Zero tolerance’ and ‘The Nation’s citizens are safe’ will be hollow claims.
It is regrettable that such attacks continue to take place even as India grows stronger in every respect and Pakistan sinks deeper into poverty and failure. Even if India retaliates more severely, Pakistan will never learn just as a dog’s tail can never be straightened. Experts and common citizens alike now feel that India must take steps towards permanent solutions.
How long must we endure these terrorist attacks ? How long must we conduct ‘strikes’ and ‘operations’ ? We have already lost thousands of soldiers and lakhs of citizens to these Jihadis. Now the Union Government should seize this opportunity to break Pakistan’s backbone once and for all. India will never attain peace until this sinful neighbour that sits on its head is destroyed. The subtle power to destroy it lies in just one Name – the ‘Hindu Rashtra’.
