
RIYADH (Saudi Arabia) – Saudi Arabia has deported more than 14,000 foreigners. The Interior Ministry said that a nationwide search operation was launched against foreigners who violated the residence law, labor regulations and border security laws. Under this, 14,206 people were sent back to their countries in a week. The majority of these were citizens of Yemen and Ethiopia.

According to ‘Gulf News’, security forces carried out a joint operation with the help of other government departments between November 13 and 19. A total of 22,094 people were arrested. Saudi Arabian authorities sent 21,856 people to their embassies to complete their travel documents. Of these, 4,555 were completing the necessary procedures. 1,867 people were arrested while trying to enter the country illegally. Of these, 34 percent were Yemeni and 65 percent were Ethiopian. 29 people were arrested while trying to illegally exit Saudi Arabia.
The people arrested who help those who break the law !32 people were arrested on charges of sheltering violators, providing them with vehicles or employing them illegally. The Saudi administration has made it clear that those who help violators can face imprisonment of up to 15 years, fines and confiscation of property. Therefore, all citizens must follow the legal procedures. |
