Guwahati (Assam) – Sunil Ambekar, an office-bearer of RSS, had said that NCERT has made some changes in the history books and now the word ‘Great’  will no longer be in front of the name of Mughal Emperor Akbar or Mysore ruler Tipu Sultan. There have been many changes; but no name has been removed; as the next generation needs to know about their wrongdoings. The next generation should know who tormented us and who we should get rid of.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma supported the move. He said that NCERT did the right thing. I haven’t seen it myself; but if it did, then I thank them.
