UP Bagless School : For 10 days, schools in Uttar Pradesh to hold bag-free classes

Government focuses on reducing academic burden and making learning more enjoyable

Laxmanpuri (Uttar Pradesh) – The Uttar Pradesh Government has prioritised reducing students’ academic load and making education more enjoyable. Under this initiative, Government schools across the State will conduct bag-free classes for 10 days. During these days, instead of learning from books, students will learn through games, activities, and hands-on experiences. This is an important reform introduced under the new education policy.

1. Students of Classes 6 to 8 will be required to attend school without bags for 10 days during the academic year.

2. On Saturdays, students of these classes will take part in competitions such as sports, arts, excursions, speeches, and debates.

3. The primary objective is to increase students’ confidence and keep them stress-free.

Editorial Perspective

To ensure that not only their education but their entire life becomes truly joyful, children should be taught spiritual practice from an early age.
