Guwahati (Assam) – In the aftermath of the horrific explosion near the Red Fort, security agencies across the country have gone on high alert. Against this backdrop, Assam Police have arrested 20 Muslims for posting derogatory remarks or comments supporting terrorism on social media. Officials stated that close surveillance is being maintained on suspicious posts, and stringent action will continue against those who back anti-national activities.
Warning from the Chief Minister
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that the State Government is adopting a strict policy against any anti-national comment or act.
