“India is deliberately distorting the facts” : Barks Pakistan

Pakistan erupts in theatrics over India’s response to Trump’s secret nuclear-test claim

Islamabad (Pakistan) – A few days ago, US President Donald Trump claimed that Russia, China, and Pakistan had been conducting secret nuclear tests. Following India’s response to this statement, Pakistan has now criticised India. At a press conference, Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson, Tahir Andrabi, stated: “Pakistan’s last nuclear test took place in May 1998, and our stance on nuclear testing is well-known and transparent. India is deliberately misrepresenting the facts and portraying President Trump’s remarks inaccurately. Allegations of covert or illegal nuclear activities are baseless and motivated by malice.”

India’s response and Pakistan’s irritation !

Commenting on President Trump’s statement, India had said last week that “Pakistan’s covert nuclear activities are linked to smuggling networks that have operated for several decades.” Angered by India’s remarks, Pakistan retaliated with the criticism mentioned above.

‘We do not know who is behind the Delhi blast’ – Pakistan

When asked about the massive explosion near the Red Fort in India’s capital, Delhi, Andrabi said, “We have no information about who exactly carried out the blast.” (But even if Pakistan knew, would it ever admit it ? The fact remains that despite India providing evidence for numerous attacks pointing to Pakistan’s involvement, Pakistan has never accepted responsibility ! – Editor)

Editorial Perspective

Had President Trump mentioned India instead of Pakistan, does anyone need to guess what Pakistan’s reaction would have been?
