Pakistan’s Nuclear Bombs Under Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir

Information by former Pakistani army officer Adil Raja

Islamabad (Pakistan) – Pakistan’s army chief field marshal Asim Munir has made a plan which can take the country on a dangerous mode. The Shehbaz Government is amending the Constitution on the instructions of Munir and on 10.11.2025, the upper house of Pakistan’s Parliament approved this amendment. It has been explained by Adil Raja, the former army officer of Pakistan, that by implementing the 27th amendment in Pakistan, military control over the country will be legal and Pakistan will be converted into an army controlled civil Government. The amendments to Article 243 of the Constitution will enable Asim Munir to have total control over all the three-armed forces, besides, the nuclear arms.

1. Adil Raja stated while speaking to a news channel that Asim Munir will have all the power after the 27th amendment. It is not new to Pakistan to be ruled by the military; but the amendment to the Constitution is making it official now. With the amendment to Article 243 of the Constitution, Pakistan’s army chief will have extraordinary control over its navy and air force. Asim Munir can plan anything without consulting the navy and air force and attack anyone. This situation can be extremely dangerous for India.

2. Adil Raja further stated that being a field marshal and Chief of Defence Staff (Chief of  all the three- armed forces), Asim Munir can directly take charge like a General with 5 stars. He will, however, need the support of western powers.

3. As per the view of a former CIA (Central Investigation Agency) officer of the USA, Pakistan’s nuclear programme is under surveillance of an army general of the USA through ‘CENTCOM’; but being under the control of a person like Asim Munir with his extremist attitude is very dangerous.

4. During his US visit while addressing the people of Pakistan-origin in the USA, Asim Munir had openly said, “We have bombs and if we fall, we can take down the whole world or this region along with us.”

5. Adil Raja stated that Pakistan’s Prime Minister is just there. He won the election with the army’s support. After Shehbaz, there doesn’t seem to be any alternative. People are scared of the army chief; therefore, they don’t openly speak up. They are ready to accept the constitutional changes knowing Munir’s anger and people will get legal protection from his rage.

Editorial Perspective

In that case, India needs to take prompt action against Pakistan.
