China’s response to Trump’s claim that ‘China conducts nuclear tests’ !

Beijing (China) / Islamabad (Pakistan) – As a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council and a nuclear-weapon state, we have taken the position of no first use of nuclear weapons. We pursue a self-defensive nuclear policy and honor our commitment to suspend nuclear tests. China supports the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) and expects the United States to abide by its obligations under the treaty. We hope the United States will also uphold its own ban on nuclear tests and contribute to global stability, China has said in response to US President Donald Trump’s claim that Trump has conducted nuclear tests without informing Russia, China, North Korea and Pakistan.

We will not be a country that resumes nuclear testing – Pakistan clarifies

Pakistan was not the first country to conduct nuclear tests and will not be the first to resume nuclear tests, a Pakistani official has said in response to Trump’s claim. Trump had also claimed that Pakistan was among those who conducted nuclear tests. So far, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif or any minister in his government has not reacted to this.
