Mathura (Uttar Pradesh) – Former minister of Uttar Pradesh (UP) and ‘Apani Janata Party (AJP)’s President Swami Prasad Maurya has again created controversy with his anti-Hindu statement. Maurya has said that the two religious slogans viz. ‘Jai Shriram’ and ‘Jai Bajrang Bali’ have now become an excuse to stage riots and spread hatred. (‘Jai Shriram’ and ‘Jai Bajrangbali’ are not slogans that incite riots, but ones that bring rioters to their senses. 1. Swami Prasad Maurya has accused Chief Minister Yogi of running bulldozers on the houses of innocent Muslims instead of taking action against the criminals. The Chief Minister is playing the role of the court. The law-and-order situation is weakening in the State and there is a rise in anarchy. (Various reports have clearly shown that crime rates in Uttar Pradesh have declined. In such a situation, the baseless allegations made by Swami Prasad Maurya against the present government only expose his falsehood ! — Editor)

2. Referring to the incidents at Fatehpur, Swami Maurya said that no action was taken against the people who demolished the makbara (mausoleum) but cases were filed against Muslims.

3. Maurya also accused the BJP Government of violating the Constitution and having power by following extreme communal ideology.

4. He announced to stage agitations on 03.11.2025 against oppression of ‘Dalits’ and anarchy in the State. (Please note the deceit of Swami Prasad Maurya, who is trying to create divisions among Hindus by falsely spreading claims of atrocities against Dalits and backward classes ! — Editor)

5. Saints and Seers from Mathura have expressed strong displeasure over Swami Prasad Maurya’s statements. Saint Dinesh Sharma stated that Maurya has become so mentally disturbed that for his political interests, he is creating controversy about even the acclamations in Sanatan Dharma. All Saints demanded that the Government should take prompt action against Maurya.
