Satna (Madhya Pradesh) — Army chief General Upendra Dwivedi said here that ‘Operation Sindoor’ was a Dharmayuddha and will continue. He asserted that no innocent people were harmed and that there were no attacks on people during namaz or other religious prayers. The remarks came while he was visiting Saraswati Higher Secondary School — his childhood school — 53 years after he studied there. He attended the school in 1971–72 when he was in the fourth grade.

General Dwivedi added that ‘Operation Sindoor’ united the entire nation. He said the campaign sent a clear message to Pakistan that we are followers of Dharmayuddha and that this policy will be maintained going forward.
