Unity and security of the country in danger due to infiltrators

PM Modi on the occasion of Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary

Karnavati (Gujarat) –  The unity and internal security of our country is in danger today. Foreign infiltrators have been entering our country for the last many decades. They are misusing our resources and disturbing the demographic balance of this country. Unfortunately, the past Governments didn’t pay attention to this grave problem and ignored it. The past Governments endangered national security for vote bank politics. For the first time, this country has taken a firm and decisive stand on this challenge, to counter it and to protect the integrity of this country, stated Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a programme held to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. PM Modi garlanded the 182-metre-tall statue of Sardar Patel near Ekata Nagar in Narmada District of Gujarat.

Present India’s response is stronger and more decisive

This is the India of the Iron Man, Sardar Patel, and it will never compromise on its security and honour. The whole world knows that India’s response is stronger and more decisive than earlier to those who dare to cause harm to India.

Some are trying to protect rights of infiltrators

I announced the formation of the ‘Demographic Mission’ from Red Fort; but when we are trying to seriously attend to this issue, some people are giving more importance to their selfish interests against national interest. They are fighting a political battle for the protection of the rights of the infiltrators.

Kashmir burnt for many decades due to Congress’ mistakes

The Congress never followed policies promoted by Sardar Patel; therefore, the country suffered its consequences in the form of violence and bloodshed. Sardar Patel wanted to make Kashmir an integral part of India as he had successfully merged the other princely states; but Nehru stopped him. The mistakes committed by the Congress led to Kashmir burning for many decades. A part of Kashmir fell under Pakistan’s illegal occupation due to the mistakes of the Congress.

Congress always bowed before terrorism

Pakistan encouraged terrorism. Kashmir and the country had to pay a heavy price for the same. The Congress has always bowed before terrorism. The Congress forgot Sardar Patel but we didn’t.

To free the country from naxalism and terrorism

Today’s India is the Iron Man Sardar Patel’s India. The ideological battle is won and the results of direct confrontations with Naxals in their strongholds are now visible to the entire nation. Prior to 2014, about 125 districts were affected by Maoist terrorism. Today, the number has reduced to only 11; and among them, only 3 districts have been facing severe Naxal influence. I promise the whole country from this sacred land that I would not stop till the country is freed of naxalism and terrorism. I shall not rest till then.

Editorial Perspective

Drive to deport infiltrators needs to be undertaken on war footing and Indians feel that help should be taken from devout Hindu and patriotic organisations in the country for this purpose.
