Thane – A religious fanatic coconut seller attacked a Hindu customer with a knife in front of AIIMS Hospital in the MIDC area of Dombivli East on the afternoon of 30th October. Three fingers of Dayanand Mahadev Jatan (aged 58) were severed in that attack. His little finger is cut off completely. Someone registered a case against the coconut seller Salim, who is now absconding. All the local businessmen are scared because of this incident. (Religious fanatics dare to take such drastic steps because they are not afraid of the law, which results in such incidents. – Editor)

Dayanand Jatan, a resident of the Milapnagar area here, had gone to buy coconuts from Salim, a coconut seller near AIIMS Hospital. He chose a coconut, but feeling it dry and bad, he asked Salim about it. Their arguments turned heated after a while, and Salim attacked Jatan’s three fingers of the left hand with a coconut peeling knife, injuring them badly. Jatan is undergoing treatment at the AIIMS hospital.

Editorial Perspective

O Hindus’, realise the brutality of religious fanatics and decide whether to buy from them or not.
