Names of infiltrators to be placed on the blacklist !

Mumbai – Large-scale irregularities have come to light in Maharashtra, where Bangladeshi infiltrators have obtained fake identity documents and availed themselves of various government welfare schemes. Although several infiltrators have been arrested, the state government has directed that their names be added to a blacklist, considering the possibility that some may still be listed as beneficiaries under certain schemes. With local self-government elections likely to be announced soon, this state initiative to curb bogus voting by infiltrators will also benefit the Election Commission.
The Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department issued a government resolution on 24 October instructing that the names of Bangladeshi infiltrators be blacklisted to prevent them from accessing any government benefits. The department has also directed that the names of such infiltrators be published on its official website.
Verification to be conducted for 1,274 infiltrators with registered offences !The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has provided the names of 1,274 Bangladeshi infiltrators against whom criminal cases have been registered. The government has instructed that their names be verified to ensure they are not listed as beneficiaries of any government schemes. If any such names are found, they must be immediately removed, and a copy of the action report must be submitted to the ATS. |
