Mumbai unsafe for young women !

Mumbai – On the morning of 24 October, a shocking incident occurred in broad daylight near the Kalachowki Police Station, where a youth attacked a girl with a knife on a busy street. The attack took place in the vicinity of Aastha Nursing Home. The girl rushed inside the nursing home to save herself, but the assailant followed her and continued the attack there. He then slit his own throat, resulting in his death.
It is reported that the two were in a relationship, and the attacker suspected that the girl was involved with another person. The injured girl is currently undergoing treatment at KEM Hospital. This incident has once again brought the issue of women’s safety in Mumbai to the forefront.
