BJP leader Kirit Somaiya’s book ‘Bhonge-mukta Mumbai’ presents grave situation of ‘Islamisation’ of Mumbai

Details of a campaign undertaken for removing more than 7000 loudspeakers

Mumbai, 17^th October –  On 17.10.2025, a book authored by BJP leader Kirit Somaiya titled ‘Bhonge-mukta (Loudspeaker-free) Mumbai’ was released by BJP’s State Cultural Minister Ashish Shelar and BJP’s Mumbai-President Amit Satam. The book throws light on the campaign undertaken for removal of more than 7000 loudspeakers, legally and illegally fitted, on about 2000 mosques disregarding court’s orders. The book which exposes a scary ‘Islamization’ plan of Mumbai, has been written by BJP-MP Kirit Somaiya. This book gives information on the complaints lodged; follow up of Mumbai High Court’s order issued against loudspeakers and the actual action taken by going to the respective places. The book also has photos taken at the sites and statistics.

Contents of the Book

1. The loudspeakers of the Sunni Masjid-e-Quba Madrasa Faizan-e-Raza on GokulDham Film City Road in Goregaon (East) were fitted even on the adjacent cell phone towers. There was unauthorised construction at Swaminarayan Nagar in Powai on which a board was displayed about a mosque and loudspeakers were fitted on that board. Mr Kirit Somaiya had lodged complaints with 67 Police Stations in Mumbai for the removal of loudspeakers which included the unauthorised loudspeakers on 72 mosques at Govandi,  Shivaji Nagar. The book gives details of this matter also. The book thus describes the terrifying position of ‘Islamization’ of Mumbai.

2. Kirit Somaiya’s book gives all the information about details mentioned by CM Devendra Fadanvis during the budgetary session of State Legislative Assembly held in Mumbai, the campaigns undertaken by Somaiya with the help of the Police, complaints lodged, loudspeakers fitted on different mosques, etc. besides, giving details of the attacks on Somaiya during the campaign of Loudspeaker-free Mumbai.
