Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif’s baseless charge!

Islamabad (Pakistan) — Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif alleged that the Taliban take orders from Delhi and that Afghanistan is carrying out a covert war against India. He also warned; vaguely; that “if Pakistan is provoked, military action will follow.” He spoke in an interview with GEO News.
For decades Pakistan has waged a covert war against India in Kashmir through jihadi militants, causing thousands of civilian and soldier deaths and forcing millions of Hindus to flee. If Pakistan now claims India is taking revenge, so be it.

Both Taliban Muslims and Pakistani militants fight in the name of religion; Pakistan aided the Taliban’s rise. If Pakistan believes the Taliban now side with India, it should explain why.
If the Taliban escalate, we will strike!
On whether a ceasefire with the Taliban will hold, Asif said he doubted it, claiming the Afghan Taliban receive backing from Delhi. “We have full capability to respond. If they escalate, we will attack; but we are open to talks,” he said.
Claims that Taliban seized Pakistani armour are rumours!
Asif dismissed reports that Taliban forces looted Pakistani armoured vehicles as rumours. He said the vehicles the Taliban use are not Pakistani-made; he does not know their origin; perhaps old scrap bought from dealers. He added that fabricated photos or videos are being used as “evidence.”
