
Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra – The Crime Branch police received information that cattle had been tied up for slaughter in Salabatpur, Newasa taluka. Acting on the tip-off, at around 4 a.m. on 11 October, the police seized 10 cattle from Mujahid Shaikh and 3 from Mosin Shaikh, making a total of 13 cattle that had been brought for slaughter. The value of the seized cattle is estimated at ₹1.45 lakh. The police rescued the cattle and registered an offence against the Muslims involved.
