Thane, Maharashtra – A Christian prayer program was going on in Chimbipada (Bhiwandi) in the morning. James Watson, a Christian missionary who came to India from the United States for this program, was luring people from other faiths to convert to Christianity. The event was attended by 35 people. Following the complaint, the police registered a case under various sections at Bhiwandi Taluka Rural Police Station and arrested James Watson and three others. Some religious literature and books have been recovered from him. According to the complaint, Watson forcibly stopped some of the children, put his hand on their forehead and said that he had treated them and thus abused children.
