Hindus are unsafe in Bangladesh

Netrokona (Bangladesh) – In a chilling incident that has reignited concerns over minority persecution, a Hindu businessman was brutally murdered late Monday night in Netrokona’s Mohanganj area, just 150 yards away from the local police station. The victim, Narayan Pal (Age 40) — son of Nripendra Pal from Rautpara in Mohanganj Municipality — was the owner of “Narayan Store,” a well-known grocery shop at Thana Mor. For the past few days, leaders of the extremist organisation Jamaat-e-Islami had been pressuring him to pay jizya tax.
