206 short term job-oriented courses inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today

Nashik, Maharashtra – ITI ( Government Industrial Training Institute) in Nashik, will include a new course, ‘Vedic Sanskar Junior Assistant’, in response to Simhastha Parva (Kumbha Mela) in 2027, informed Minister of Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, in a press conference. There could be a need to have more people qualified to lead religious rituals. To fulfil that need, a course of 3 to 6 months has been prepared. People who have the knowledge of Vedic Sanskar will be available easily. It has been noticed at every Simhastha Parva that people who could perform religious rituals were not available easily, therefore this course has been introduced. Various ITI colleges in the district will have this course in their curriculum.
A unique initiative called, ‘short term employment course’ has been initiated by the government. The above-mentioned course comes under this initiative. More than 206 new employment-oriented courses for 2,506 batches will be introduced in Government Industrial Training Institutes and Government Technical Schools in the State. This curriculum will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 8th September. This curriculum will include Drone technology, Cyber Security, Solar Energy, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Green Hydrogen, Mobile Repair, Social Media Influencers etc.
25% seats are reserved for the students at the Institute. 600 such initiatives will be introduced across the State. This year 75,000 youths will be trained. 364 special batches are for women.
