Patliputra (Bihar) – “We will support any political party or organisation that promotes cow protection — even the AIMIM. But why are those who seek votes in the name of Hindus and Hindutva silent on cow protection ?” questioned Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati during his visit to Shivhar in Bihar.

The Shankaracharya further stated, “The cow does not belong to any particular caste, sect, or party — cow is the identity of the entire nation. Those who do politics in the name of the cow should answer what they are actually doing for cow service. The cow is the foundation of Indian culture, economy, and environment. Cow protection is the duty of the entire nation. Our loyalty is not towards any political party but towards Gomata and Sanatan Dharma. We are not against any political party.”
