Another Indian hotel owner murdered in the US

Rakesh Ehgaban, an Indian hotel owner of Indian origin, was shot dead

Harrisburg (Pennsylvania) – Attacks on people of Indian origin in the United States continue to rise instead of stopping. Recently, 51-year-old Rakesh Ehgaban, an Indian hotel owner residing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was shot dead. The killer, identified as 37-year-old Stanley Eugene West, had been staying in the same hotel for the past two weeks.

After murdering the Indian hotel owner, West fled the scene in a car. When Police later located him, he opened fire on them as well. In the ensuing gunfight, West was injured by Police gunfire. According to Police reports, just moments before committing the murder, West had also shot at his female companion.
