Will try to pass a law against ‘Love Jihad’ : Prakash Abitkar, Guardian Minister, Kolhapur District

Kolhapur – Numerous Hindu girls and women across the State have fallen victim to the conspiracy of ‘Love Jihad’. To stop this conspiracy, a demand was made to Guardian Minister Prakash Abitkar on behalf of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti that a strict anti-Love Jihad law be passed in the coming winter session. On this occasion, Abitkar assured that he would try to pass an anti-Love Jihad law. A statement demanding the same was also submitted to BJP MP Dhananjay Mahadik and MLA Amal Mahadik, as well as Shiv Sena MLA Rajesh Kshirsagar. All of them assured that they would try to pass an anti-Love Jihad law.

On this occasion, Kailash Dixit of Hindu Rashtra Coordination Committee, devout Hindu Manoj Kumar Chougule, Sanjay Mali, Dilip Dalvi, Ghanshambhai Patel, BJP Women General Secretary Vandanatai Bambalvad, Pratibha Taware of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Preeti Pawar, Sadhana Godse, Shivanand Swami, Mahendra Ahire, businessman Anand Patil, Seema Gogayan of Durga Vahini and others were present.

Editorial Perspective

Despite having laws against ‘Love Jihad’ in other BJP-ruled States, incidents of Love Jihad are happening every day in those States. Therefore, Maharashtra should now enact the strictest law with death penalty provisions.
