India’s safety is guaranteed only through the unity of Hindus : Param Pujya Sarsanghchalak

Statement by Sarsanghchalak Param Pujya Dr Mohanji Bhagwat at the Dussehra meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in Nagpur

Nagpur – Hindus were killed in Pahalgam after confirming their religion. Now, every Indian should decide who is his enemy and who is his friend. After this attack, the Government took 5 major decisions against Pakistan. India responded to the terrorist attack in a well-planned manner. Throughout this period, we saw heart-warming scenes of the strong determination of our leadership, the bravery and combat readiness of our armed forces, as well as the unity of our society. This incident also taught us that we should be aware of the security of the country. The unity, development and safety of India is guaranteed only in the unity of the Hindu society, guided the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Sarsanghchalak Param Pujya Dr. Mohanji Bhagwat. He was speaking at the centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Former President Ram Nath Kovind was the chief guest on this occasion. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and dignitaries from abroad were present at this event. 21,000 volunteers attended this event at Reshimbagh Ground. The drones used in ‘Operation Sindoor’ and the indigenously made Pinaka rockets were worshipped on this occasion. The flag was also hoisted.

Sarsanghchalak Param Pujya Dr Mohanji Bhagwat stated –

‘Hindu patriotism’ keeps us united

The basis of our unity is our Indian culture. It is inclusive. Our culture teaches us to respect and accept everyone. The culture has been preserved by the Hindu community here since ancient times. Therefore, sometimes that culture is also called ‘Hindu culture’. Our ancestors have worked hard, made sacrifices and gave life to preserve and promote this culture for generations. The practice of that culture, the glory of our ancestors, and devotion to our motherland all together prove our nationality. This is our Hindu nationality. If someone objects to the word ‘Hindu’, they should say ‘Hindavi’ or ‘Bharatiya’. All these are synonyms; but there is only one word that clearly expresses this nationality, and that is ‘Hindu.’ Our love and devotion to this sacred motherland together creates patriotism. This ‘Hindu patriotism’, which unites everyone with respect, has always kept us united. We do not have the concept of ‘nation-state’. States come and go; but the nation remains forever. We should never forget this foundation of our unity.

Indian culture is Hindu culture

Indian culture is based on the qualities of spirituality, compassion, purity and penance, i.e. religion. The Hindu community, which was born in this nation, has traditionally preserved this culture through its conduct, which is why it is also called ‘Hindu culture’. In ancient India, the sages have preserved it with the strength of their ascetic knowledge and yoga practices. The conduct of that eternal culture, the prudent imitation of the culture as the ideal of our ancestors, is necessary.

Hindu society is responsible for this country

Hindu society is a society responsible for this country. It is inclusive. Hindu society is the promoter and protector of the inclusive ideology of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.’ (The whole earth is one family). Therefore, it is the duty of Hindu society to make India prosperous, to make it a country that gives its expected and rightful contribution to the entire world.

There is no alternative to Swadeshi and self-reliance

The policy recently announced by the USA is troubling other countries. For that, we should not depend on the prevailing economic development method. The world’s train runs through mutual relations. A single country cannot move independently; but this dependence should not be an option; because it is impossible to say when this economic system will change. Therefore, we have no alternative to Swadeshi and self-reliance. We will have to become self-reliant. We will have to adopt Swadeshi. Even after that, we will have to preserve all kinds of international relations; but there should be no option, no compulsion in it.

The real strength of RSS lies in the absence of caste and religion in RSS’s working : Ram Nath Kovind, former President

Ram Nath Kovind, former President

Former President Ram Nath Kovind said on this occasion that in the year 1940, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar visited the RSS branch in Karad. He had offered to help RSS workers. He had a feeling of affection for the RSS. This is the result of the RSS ideology of harmony and inclusiveness. When I came in contact with Rajju Bhaiyya (former Sarsanghchalak), I understood the true identity of RSS. I experienced equality, harmony and public service firsthand. There is no discrimination of caste or religion anywhere in the functioning of the RSS. This is its real strength. M. Gandhi was also impressed by the functioning of the RSS. After attending the RSS meeting in 1947, he appreciated the discipline, simplicity and service of the RSS.
