Now the target will not be Lahore but Karachi; we will even change Pakistan’s geography !

Rajnath Singh issues stern warning

Kutch (Gujarat) – Defence Minister Rajnath Singh warned Pakistan that if Pakistan’s provocations continue in the Sir Creek area of Kutch, India will respond ‘in kind’. He said India would alter Pakistan’s history and geography. Now the target will not be Lahore but Karachi. Remember, the route to Karachi goes through Sir Creek, he warned. Rajnath Singh made these remarks while performing a weapons worship (shastra puja) at an army base in Kutch on 2nd October on the occasion of Vijayadashami, and addressing the Indian armed forces afterward.

Rajnath Singh stated –

1. We have completed 78 years of independence. Pakistan is again carrying out provocations. Disputes are being raised over the line of control in the Sir Creek area. India has on many occasions tried to resolve issues through talks, but Pakistan’s intentions appear insincere. The Pakistani military has deployed equipment along the Sir Creek line of control and is carrying out development work in that area.

2. During ‘Operation Sindoor’ Pakistan tried to infiltrate into India along the border from Leh to Sir Creek, but that attempt failed. The Indian military completely exposed Pakistan’s air defence system.

3. The Indian armed forces have sent a message to the world that they can inflict severe damage on Pakistan anytime and anywhere.

What is the Sir Creek dispute ?

Sir Creek is a 96 km stretch of water in the Rann of Kutch between India and Pakistan that opens into the Arabian Sea. This creek separates the Kutch region of Gujarat from Pakistan’s Sindh province. Pakistan asserts its claim over the Sir Creek area.

India not only worships weapons; it also knows how to use them when the time comes : Defence Minister

Rajnath Singh said that the worship of weapons symbolises the triumph of divine power over demonic forces. Therefore, when we worship weapons, we pledge to use that power to protect righteousness and justice. India does not merely perform weapons worship; when the time comes, it also knows how to employ them.

When Shriram fought Ravan, his aim was not merely to win but to re-establish the Dharma.
