Mangaluru (Karnataka ) – A study class has been organised at Hukkeri Muth in Haveri from 8.09.2025 to 14.09.025 by Shriram Sena, and its national President Pramod Muthalik was planning to visit the venue to examine the preparations made for the programme, and he was also to attend the conclusion ceremony of the programme scheduled on 14.09.2025. He has, however, been banned from entering Haveri district in the background of the forthcoming ‘Gauri-Ganesh’ and Eid-e-Milad festivals, fearing his speech causing law and order problems. He has been banned from entering Haveri district for 27 days, from August 31, 2025, to September 26, 2025, to maintain communal harmony and protect public property.

Why is the State Government scared of me? – Pramod Muthalik

Mr Muthalik said while talking about this matter that he wanted to visit Haveri district in the background of Shriram Sena’s study classes, but the anti-Hindu State Government has imposed a ban on him for a month to enter the district. Why should the State Government be scared of him, he wondered. He said he would challenge the ban order in court.

Editorial Perspectives

  • Is it India or Pakistan that such a ban is imposed on a devout Hindu activist ?
  • Please note that the Congress Government imposing a ban on devout Hindu activist Pramod Muthalik to enter a district is, however, keen to lift the ban on a terrorist organisation like PFI.
