Hindu couples must have 3 children : Sarsanghachalak Param Pujya Dr Mohanji Bhagwat

Acknowledges that the birth rate of Hindus declined the fastest

Respected Chief of the Organization, Mohanji Bhagwat

New Delhi – A couple should have 3 children. A society wherein couples have less than three children gradually ceases to exist. Along with population control, a sufficient population is also necessary for the country. In the changing situation, the birth rate of every class, community, and religion in the country has become low; but the birth rate of Hindus has decreased the fastest. When the population increases, nature also works to control it, said the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s  Sarsanghachalak Param Pujya Dr Mohanji Bhagwat. He was speaking on the last day of the 3-day dialogue organized at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi to mark the centenary of the RSS. Through this statement, he wanted to suggest that ‘Hindus should give birth to 3 children’.

Important points presented by  Sarsanghachalak

1. A good balance is needed between the country’s needs and population

Population is both a burden and an opportunity for the country. Population policy should be such that it can be controlled but also meets the needs of the country. Also, the entire population can be properly nurtured. With this policy, a good balance can be maintained between the needs of the country and the population.

2. The birth rate must be scientifically correct

Along with the scriptures, science also says that the birth rate should be right. If this does not happen, the relevant class or society disappears. Under this policy, all countries are moving forward on the principle or policy of at least three children per couple.

3. Reason behind having 3 children in a family

Research has shown that parents and children are healthier in families with 3 children. According to health studies, this leads to fewer ego conflicts in the family. Children learn ego management.
