Qudsia Mosque in Delhi

Mumbai – During the fifteen years between financial years 2010-11 and 2024-25, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) spent billions of rupees on different historical Islamic structures which are the symbols of atrocities against Hindus, informed advocate Virendra Ichalkaranjikar, national president of ‘Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad (HVP)’, based on the reply received by him on his application under Right to Information (RTI) Act. It includes Rs 1.23 crores for maintenance of Shahi Masjid or Qudsia Mosque in Delhi; Rs 1.06 crore for the mosque in Begumpur; Rs 22.13 lakhs for Mohammad Tughlaq’s tomb, Rs 9.67 lakhs for the dargah of Nizamuddin Auliya, while  in the past 15 years, Bahlul Lodi’s tomb has received Rs 16.53 lakhs from the Government. On the other hand, in the past 15 years, Rs 45,000 have been spent on the maintenance of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Rajarajeshwara Temple. It has created a wave of rage amongst Hindus.

Information obtained by advocate Virendra Ichalkaranjikar under RTI

delhi archeological issues (1)

1. No money has been spent in the past 13 years from 2010 to 2022 for the maintenance of the Ashok Stambh, a picture of which  has been printed on the Indian currency notes.

2. Later, in the next 3 years, Rs 74.03 lakhs were spent on Ashok Stambh.

3. In the new text books on history, NCERT has shown Mughal ruler Babar as a very cruel and inhumane king. Alauddin Khilji has been described as the destroyer of temples. It has also been stated that all Mughal rulers, including Aurangzeb, demolished and looted temples. The information obtained under RTI in this background is quite important.

ASI has trampled religious sentiments of Hindus, the majority population – Advocate Virendra Ichalkaranjikar

Advocate Virendra Ichalkaranjikar

Advocate Ichalkaranjikar told ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ that Ashok Stambh is a very prominent pillar and the funds allocated were necessary for its maintenance; but the temple of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj because of whom most of the population remained Hindu in India, gets only Rs 45,000 for its maintenance ? Those, who killed millions of Hindus, molested Hindu women, destroyed more than 3.5 lakh Hindu temples to erect Islamic structures, are given millions by the Government ? The glorification of Hindu-haters is enraging. It is not just a mockery of secular democracy but it is trampling the religious sentiments of the majority Hindu population.

Editorial Perspective

Please realise the bitter truth of Indian secularism ! Hindus should come together and take Archaeological Survey of India to task to stop glorification of symbols of Islamic aggressors who oppressed Hindus.
