Hindu businessman murdered in Bangladesh: Muslim accused dance on his dead body

Dhaka (Bangladesh) – Lal Chand alias Sohag, a Hindu scrap dealer, was murdered in Bangladesh. Police have so far arrested 7 people in this case. The incident took place near Mitford Hospital on July 9th. The accused killed Lal Chand and danced on his dead body. A video of the incident is being circulated on social media. Hundreds of students took to the streets after the incident and accused the interim Government of failing to stop the mob violence.

1. The Police said that no criminal will be spared, regardless of his political background. No criminal will be given shelter. (The Bangladesh Police are unlikely to adhere to these promises – Editor). Steps have been taken to transfer the murder case to a fast- track tribunal.

2. The reason for this murder is said to be extortion and a business dispute. In this case, advocate Yunus Ali Akand has filed a petition in the High Court demanding the formation of a high-level committee to investigate the murder.

3. There are 19 accused named in this case and 15 to 20 unknown accused are also involved in it.

Editorial Perspective

In the next few years, such incidents will never happen in Bangladesh; because there will not be a single Hindu left there ! After that, a similar situation will occur in India too. Hindus should remember that after about 100 years, such incidents will become a regular occurrence in India.
