BRICS Summit condemns Pahalgam terror attack

Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) – The BRICS Summit held on 6 July issued a 126-point joint declaration, in which the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam and the Israeli strike on Iran were condemned.

Terrorism must be opposed as a matter of principle, not convenience

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the summit, stated that the Pahalgam terror attack was not just an assault on India, but an attack on all of humanity. He emphasised that terrorism cannot be condemned selectively – opposition to it must be rooted in principle.
