Arrested from Pilkhuwa (Uttar Pradesh)

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested railway employee Gajendra Yadav and his two accomplices from Pilkhuwa in the state. They are accused of printing and distributing counterfeit currency notes. Operating from a rented house, they produced fake currency and trafficked it across multiple districts in the state. During the arrest, the team seized counterfeit notes worth ₹3.90 lakh and other related materials.
Gajendra Yadav, a resident of Bulandshahr district, was working as a pointsman at the Lakhan railway station. The other two arrested are identified as Siddharth Jha and Vijayveer Chaudhary. The trio had divided responsibilities among themselves – procuring paper, printing notes, and trafficking the fake currency.
