BJP and VHP foil attempt to convert Hindus at ‘Yeshu Darbar’

Incident in Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh)

Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) – In the Nevada Bazaar area of Prayagraj district, Hindus were reportedly being coerced into converting under the pretense of “Yeshu Darbar,” through offers of money and jobs. Upon receiving this information, workers from the BJP and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) intervened and opposed the activity. The police have registered a case against 18 individuals, and 3 organizers have been taken into custody for questioning.

Editorial Perspectives

  • The absence of a strict anti-conversion law in the country has allowed such incidents to continue. This situation makes the establishment of a Hindu Rashtra inevitable !
  • Religious conversions to Christianity in Prayagraj — the pearl of pilgrimage sites and host of the Maha Kumbha Mela — is a matter of shame for Hindus! If Hindus now devise a strategy to preach their faith in Vatican City, it should not come as a surprise !
