Pune, 22ndJune – A huge hoarding saying, ‘Allah ke siva koi mabud nahi’ , meaning there is no other god than Allah, has been put up at a place where thousands of pilgrims are streaming in to take darshan of Mauli’s palkhi in Bhavanipeth. This hoarding is an insult to Hindus’ religious sentiments.

The devotees who came to pay homage to the sandals of Saint Dnyaneshwar and Saint Tukaram Maharaj.

This hoarding was put up to greet Muslims on Eid. However, the Muslims were not considerate and did not remove the hoarding despite the arrival of Dnyaneshwar Mauli’s palkhi. A social organisation ‘Madarsa Anvarul Islam’ had put up this hoarding. The disillusionment comes when the Police who impose restrictions at the time of every Hindu religious festival, saying it would hurt the religious sentiments of Muslims, did not order removal of this hoarding. Editorial Perspectives

  • This incident might prompt Hindus to put up hoardings saying, ‘in all the three worlds there is no other god than Bhagwan Shrikrushna’ next to Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai and Jama Masjid Delhi.
  • Please note – ‘People other than Muslims are prohibited in Mecca, however, if Hindus even think of spreading Hindu Dharma outside this area, all the 50 Muslim countries in the world will be up in arms against India.
