Milind Ekbote has taken a commendable step to stop the Namaz recitation in the temple premises of Sarasbaug (Pune)!
Pune: Prayers were being offered at Sarasbaug in the Swargate area. A case has also been registered against the religious fanatics at Swargate Police Station. It was reported on social media that prayers were being offered at Sarasbaug. Following this, some pro-Hindu organisations took an aggressive stand. Accordingly, it was also planned to perform Aarti every Friday.
Later, a signboard was put up at the entrance of the Ganapati Temple in Sarasbaug. “Shri Siddhivinayak Temple, Sarasbaug, under Shri Devdeveshwar Sansthan, respects only Sanatan religious tradition. Other forms of worship/prayers are prohibited in the area. Legal action will be taken if found,” read the placard.
President of ‘Samast Hindu Aghadi’ – Milind Ekbote, along with Rupesh Kesekar and Sanket Mehendale Guruji, constantly followed up to ensure the banner was put up.
Editorial Perspective –It is shameful for Hindus that Namaz is being recited in the Shri Ganesh Temple complex, located in a historical place like Sarasbaug in Pune city! The police of the pro-Hindu government are also expected to take action to stop such incidents! |
