Advocates for Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb made Aurangzeb a hero

Candid statement by RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale

(Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb means the so-called harmony between Hindu-Muslim communities, who reside on the banks of Ganga and Yamuna. However, all the time, only Hindus are pressurised to adhere to this culture.)

Dattatrya Hosabale, RSS Sarkaryavah (General Secretary)

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – “Those who talk about Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb, have made Aurangzeb a hero. They never mention his  brother Dara Shikoh. The changed name of Aurangzeb Marg is APJ Abdul Kalam Marg. Do we want to idolise outsiders, or should we acknowledge the worth of our own people ? Co-existence with local invaders is a questionable situation. This needs to be thought over,” said RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatrya Hosabale, while speaking in a press conference.

Hosabale added, in the past, under the name of secularism history was tampered with. Today, Hindu community is rising with self-confidence.

Further, he said, all the State Governments offer reservations based on caste, but it was not the idea of Baba Saheb Ambedkar.
