This decision has been taken because of deterioration of relations between the two countries due to terrorist activities. This will result in deportation of more then 8 Lakh Afghans. These people have Afghanistan citizenship cards. They all are categorised as refugees. 1000 of Afghans have taken refugee in Pakistan without documentations.
Editorial PerspectiveWhen will India give a similar warning to Bangladeshis and Rohingyas living in India ?or will they be considered to be Indian citizens because of the counterfeit papers that they possess ? |
