China Prepared for Any War with America : Xi Jinping

Beijing (China) – U.S. President Donald Trump has initiated a “tariff war” against China by imposing a 20% import tax on Chinese goods. In response, Chinese President Xi Jinping declared that if the U.S. seeks war—whether it be a tariff war, trade war, or any other form of conflict—China is prepared to fight till the end. Trump had previously announced tariff impositions on several countries, including China and India, during a joint address to the U.S. Congress.

1.Xi Jinping accused the U.S. of trying to pressure and blackmail China by increasing tariffs. He remarked, “The U.S. is punishing us for helping them. This will not solve America’s fentanyl crisis (fentanyl is a painkiller). Instead, it will weaken anti-narcotics cooperation and dialogue between our nations.”

2.In response to Trump’s threats, China has warned the U.S. against intimidation. A spokesperson from China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that “Threatening China is not the right way to conduct negotiations.”
