
Washington DC (United States) – More than 100 intelligence officers have been fired for engaging in sexually explicit conversation on ‘Intelink’, a secure intelligence app. The was announced by Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence. The misconduct was first exposed by columnist Christopher Rufo.
1.‘Intelink’ is a highly secure platform designed for intelligence officers to discuss classified and sensitive national security matters. However, it was misused for explicit conversations, including discussions on gender-affirming surgeries.
2.Addressing this matter, Tulsi Gabbard stated, ‘Using a professional app for obscene discussions is utterly shameful. Not only will these officers be removed from their positions, but their security clearances will also be revoked.
