Seats of ‘IndiGo’ flight broken

  • Accusation by Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar

  • Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had also filed a complaint against Air India !

Mohali (Punjab) – Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar questioned the service of ‘IndiGo Airlines’ and said that the cushion of his seat was found loose during his journey from Chandigarh to Delhi. This caused him to suffer throughout the journey.   When a complaint was made to the crew members (flight staff), he said that they should go to the establishment’s website and complain in this regard. (Action should be taken against employees who show insensitivity and shirk their responsibility ! – Editor). This ‘chaltahai’ attitude of major airlines is against safety norms and the  Directorate General of Civil Aviation should pay attention to this. Jakhar reported the incident on ‘X’.

Following Shivraj Singh’s complaint, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu directed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation to probe the matter and suggest corrective measures immediately.

Jakhar added…

1. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had also raised questions over ‘Air India’’s facilities. Chouhan had to travel from a broken seat in the plane.

2. Jakhar posted a few pictures from IndiGo’s Chandigarh-Delhi flight on January 27.

Editorial Perspective

If the union minister of the ruling party, as well as the state president of a party, has to suffer like this, then it is better not to even think about what will be the plight of the common passengers !
