He further said,
1. Wikipedia was not operated from India. It was like a freelancer. It had some fixed Rules according to which some people had the right to write for it, but it was not right to distort historical facts while writing; specific rules will have to be prepared for checking such writings. Earlier, it was easy to make rules because there was a geographical framework demarcated for social media; since this framework is no longer there presently, it might be difficult to make rules for it. They had taken the issue to the central Government.
2. Everyone had freedom of expression, but it had its limits. Freedom of expression was not unlimited. No one had the right to encroach upon the freedom of others. Therefore, action must be taken where obscenity goes beyond the limits.
Some objectionable information from ‘Wikipedia’

Editorial PerspectiveSince ‘Wikipedia’ is run by communists, Hindus are constantly defamed through objectionable writings on ‘Wikipedia’, which is a so-called encyclopaedia of Hindu kings and nationalists. Such Wikipedia must be banned in India. |
