Prayagraj, 15 th February – 15th February was the 34thday of Maha Kumbha. Owing to the weekend on 15th and 16thFebruary 2025, massive crowds have gathered at Triveni Sangam leading to traffic congestion. From 13thJanuary 2025 till now, 51.03 crore devotees had bath at the confluence. This is the biggest festival recorded in history. Maha Kumbha is held for 45 days and there are still 11 days left. Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla and his wife had a holy bath at the Triveni Sangam, besides Central Minister Piyush Goyal and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Om Birla stated, “It is the Maha Kumbha of Dharma, spirituality and culture. There is divine energy in Maha Kumbha. I pray to Ganga Mata to always bless us.” Piyush Goyal stated that Maha Kumbha is the example of ‘One India, Supreme India’. There is a reference of Maha Kumbha in Vedas and Puranas. This organisation is a symbol of equality and integrity. All come together here with faith, irrespective of their caste and creed and have holy bath at Triveni Sangam. Maha Kumbha not only awakens inner energy but it also purifies the soul and mind. The planning shows its expansiveness and sanctity.

 Many ministers and MLAs from Goa, along with Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant came here for a holy bath. 

Pramod Sawant said that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has extensively made arrangements at Maha Kumbha and he was happy after coming here.
