Hindus Being Misled Through Anti-Hindu Book ‘Manav Dharmashastra’ in the Maha Kumbha Area

Free distribution of the book in the Maha Kumbha area

Prayagraj, February 12 – In the Maha Kumbha area, on Triveni Marg, copies of an anti- Hindu book titled ‘Manav Dharmashastra’ are being distributed for free. This book compares temples, mosques, and priests while presenting misleading and distorted information about Hindu priests, aimed at misguiding Hindus. The book attributes its inspiration to Avadhut Devidas, whose name and photograph are featured. The book is authored by Lakshmi Narayan, identified in the book as an IPS officer from Bengal. While the original price of this book is ₹500, it is being distributed for free in the Maha Kumbha area.

Misleading Claims Made in ‘Manav Dharmashastra’

1. Whether it is a temple, mosque, dargah, or any other religious trust, it should have representation from all sections of society. Religious institutions should belong to society as a whole and function collectively.

2. Religious heads (Mahants) consider themselves gurus, but they secretly work for their selfish interests. Innocent people fall prey to their words, making true spirituality impossible.

3. Priests continuously spread false information and make a living by deceiving people. Instead of focusing on religion, they exploit the masses.

4. Priests create divisions among people, leading to bitterness in society. Since they have no other means of livelihood, they are forced to promote discrimination.

Editorial Perspective

How can books that mislead Hindus be sold during Hinduism’s biggest festival ? Would books against Islam or Christianity ever be sold in Mecca or the Vatican ? Strict action must be taken against those allowing and distributing such books.
