Washington DC (USA)/Dhaka (Bangladesh) – On 5th August of the previous year, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had to flee from Bangladesh. During this period, nationwide violence took place. While it has been speculated that the US was involved, there is now no reason to dismiss this claim. A leaked intelligence report from the US International Republican Institute (IRI) states that the Biden administration provided funding for campaigns aimed at overthrowing Sheikh Hasina’s Government. The US State Department received this report in 2020. The report discusses campaigns organised by IRI in Bangladesh from 1st March 2019 31st to December 2020.
According to the report, this is how Bangladesh’s Government was overthrown :
1. The effort to overthrow Sheikh Hasina’s Government started four years ago.
2. IRI’s team began speaking with informants in multiple cities across Bangladesh, including Dhaka, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Khulna, and Chittagong, for two months in April and May 2019. Over 170 pro-democracy activists were identified during this time, who agreed to assist in destabilising Bangladesh’s political environment. The initiative was named ‘Theory of Change’.
3. Discontent individuals under Sheikh Hasina’s regime were identified and trained.
4. These individuals, trained directly by IRI, began organising workshops at their level. They started engaging people through cultural events and organising various social activities. The mission succeeded in uniting artists, activists, and citizens of Bangladesh.
5. Discussions were also held with politicians and members of the opposition party, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party. They quickly agreed to join the anti-government movement. (This tactic shows how foreign powers, especially in India, use the Congress and Communists to create conspiracies against the Union Government and Hinduism – Editor).
6. Bangladeshi artiste Towfique Ahmed was paid to compose and release two songs — ‘Tui Parish’ (You Can Do It) and ‘E Daay Kaar’. These songs were created to stir frustration and discontent against the Bangladesh Government. Through these, the call for social and political reform in Bangladesh was promoted. The song ‘Tui Parish’ encourages youth to be empowered during hard times and motivates those committed to strengthening democracy in Bangladesh to follow every possible path, including protests and street movements.
7. The protesters were convinced that their true goal was to overthrow Sheikh Hasina’s Government.
8. The Biden Government funded IRI, which uses social activists, artists, and human rights workers to overthrow governments in various countries.
About the International Republican Institute :
The International Republican Institute (IRI) was established in 1983 under the US National Endowment for Democracy. Currently, a US Congressman is on the board of directors, along with many former US officials and staff. The institute claims to be a non-partisan organisation with no affiliation to any political party. It mainly receives funding from the US State Department, George Soros’ USAID, and the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
Editorial PerspectiveIt should not be forgotten that this US agenda was also active in India. The violence under the guise of protesting the Citizenship Amendment Act, agricultural laws, and other issues in India was also driven by American forces ! |
