(Ijtema is an Islamic congregation )

Kharghar (Navi Mumbai ) – An incident of killing of a Hindu youth named Shivkumar Sharma after ‘Ijtema’ has come to light. After this incident, the State Fisheries and Port Development Minister, Nitesh Rane wrote a letter to the Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis. He has written in the letter, “Two Muslim youth are involved in the killing of a Hindu youth in Kharghar. He was beaten up with helmet on some trivial issue. The incident happened after the accused were returning from ‘Ijtema’. A case should be filed against the organisers of ‘Ijtema’ and the concerned people should be arrested. Inquiry should be conducted by forming a high-level committee. (Hindus expect CM to arrest the accused and do justice to Hindus. – Editor)

Nitesh Rane meets the family of the victim and assures to do justice
Minister Nitesh Rane visited the house of Shivkumar Sharma and assured his parents to do justice. Shivkumar Sharma has 4 sisters and they are pleading for justice. This incident is a conspiracy against Hindus and the Government will take stringent action against the accused.
Dhruv Sharma, a relative of Shivkumar Sharma said that Shivkumar has been purposely killed. It cannot be treated as an accident. A video of this incident has also become viral which shows a few boys beating Shivkumar Sharma.
Nitesh Rane who is trying to create communal rift between Hindu-Muslims, should be removed from the post – SP leader Abu Azmi’s demand with CM![]() Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Abu Azmi held a press conference on 07.02.2025 and accused Nitesh Rane as a worshipper of hatred. Such people are always working for spoiling the atmosphere in Maharashtra by creating feud between Hindu-Muslims. I ask the Chief Minister to remove him (Nitesh Rane) from the State cabinet of ministers. If Nitesh Rane is saying that persons attending ‘Ijtema’ were involved in the fighting and a person was killed., Police should investigate the matter and punish the guilty; but demanding to impose ban on ‘Ijtema’ in Maharashtra on the basis of such incident is wrong. How should Muslims live with non-Muslims, with unity, is taught in ‘Ijtema’ along with Shariat and religious matters. Nitesh Rane is trying to promote communalism in Maharashtra. The allegations made by him against the Muslim organisation are wrong. This organisation works for bringing Muslim youth on right track and helps even the Government. It doesn’t incite anyone. (‘Ijtema’ is organised in Maharashtra by ‘Tablighi Jamaat’. This organisation has been banned in many countries including Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, etc because it is accused of spreading fanatic ideology, promoting radical ideology and involvement in financial scams. By calling such an organisation as innocent, isn’t Abu Azmi supporting terrorism in a way ? – Editor) Editorial PerspectivePeople know who are creating communal rift between Hindu -Muslims and who are devout promoters of Hindu Dharma. Abu Azmi need not say anything in the matter. |
